World Gastronomic Tour explores the problem of food shortage, food waste, inequality, and starvation. The game was made during the 6-hour offline game jam @ the Indicator venue, Saint Petersburg.

Game jam theme:

  • Concealed (both IRL and in the game food has a concealed parameter - calories, having a major impact on the outcome)
  • Many (the game explores the topic of food inequality, meaning that some get more food than the others)
  • Gear / Cog (all food that's not consumed is shredded by cogs, even if there's a food shortage)
